The climate action sticker wall was inspired by artist Yayoi Kusama’s use of stickers to forge a sense of creative community in an installation in a London museum. The Climate Museum team thought they might help people commit to civic engagement with a subject that is often overwhelming. Stickers transform the climate commitments being made into a physical act—and they are inherently fun! As the stickers accumulate over time, they show how our climate action and dialogue compound, creating ripple effects and a sense of shared values and community. The stickers bring forward how many of our friends and neighbors want to see and make change, just like us.
