Weekends from April 22 to May 14, celebrate Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s glorious spring blooms and flowering trees with pop-up music and dance performances, cultural programs, workshops for kids and families, Garden tours, and more.

    Osborne Garden Fountain

    Forest Bathing

    Shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, is the process of deeply experiencing nature by taking it in slowly and thoughtfully through all the senses. Join this nature walk to relax, calm your mind, and deepen your self-reflection. Preregistration required; meet at the fountain in the Osborne Garden.

    Family Discovery Weekends

    Learn and play together in the Discovery Garden. Hands-on stations throughout the garden’s meadow, woodland, and marsh habitats encourage families to explore nature alongside volunteer docents.

    Ever wonder what it takes to make your block greener? Passionate about grassroots gardening? Meet the team that works with Brooklyn’s greenest blocks for tips on best practices for street tree care, choosing the right plant for the right place, growing your gardening community by engaging with neighbors, and more. Beginners welcome.
