Watercolor: Understanding Color

Whether you are an advanced artist, a beginner, or just curious, this class is for you. We will study color theories and put their ideas into practice, learning to mix and match colors to achieve harmonious schemes. We will study the colors present in plants and flowers with a view to enhancing an appreciation of nature's rich palette. Although we will work in watercolor, the lessons learned can be applied to other media: pastel, colored pencil, acrylic, or oil.
