This exhibit features the work of over 50 talented artists who have participated as students and teachers in the Garden’s Continuing Education art classes, reflecting the array of media and themes studied here. Brooklyn Botanic Garden offers a unique urban setting in which to contemplate the beauty of nature and learn about all things plant related.
Classes for adults have been offered at the Garden since it was founded in 1910, and as many as 2,000 adults study horticulture, nature, and art at the Garden each year. The program’s art instructors are professional artists who exhibit their work in New York City and beyond.
