Jessica Greenbaum, an award-winning and New Yorker–published poet, reads from her work in an evening designed to invite conversation with the audience between accessible, nature-inspired poems. How do the Garden’s plantings and its created haven help us see ourselves in nature? And how do the Garden’s delights, inspiration, and instruction reflect the issues of the human condition?
The event begins at 6 p.m. with a poetry-inspired Garden tour. Bring your thoughts from the tour to the reading and discussion at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets required. General admission: $10. Members and children under 12 free (with ticket).
For this after-hours event, ticket holders must enter at 990 Washington Avenue, starting at 5:45 p.m.
