Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Laboratory Building (now called the Administration Building) was dedicated in 1917. The Tuscan Revival-style Administration building was designed by the firm of McKim, Mead & White and is now a designated landmark.
During Open House New York, visitors will be able to see the elegant rotunda and visit the Garden's horticultural library on the second floor of the Administrative Building.
Admission to the Garden is free from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at any entrance. From 12 noon to 2 p.m., OHNY participants must enter via the staff entrance at 1000 Washington Avenue.
