Experience the summer solstice as a celebration of new energy and abundance with sweeping performances at sunrise and sunset of the lyrical gem Canto Ostinato by Simeon ten Holt, in a world-premiere arrangement created by Metropolis Ensemble with Sandbox Percussion and Erik Hall for over 50 percussionists and musical artists. The sunrise-and-sunset pair of performances culminates Biophony, a four-season collaboration between Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Metropolis Ensemble.
