Judith K. Kunhardt

Judith K. Kunhardt (d. 2017) was originally from a small industrial town in Ohio but received her art training in New York City. In addition to art studio studies at City College of New York, she took botanical art workshops with Anne Ophelia Dowden, Motoi Oi, and Manabu Saito. She taught drawing and watercolor painting to both children and adults, including at Brooklyn Botanic Garden in the adult education program. Judith's work has been exhibited throughout the New York area in juried shows, at galleries, and at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and the Museum of Staten Island. Her work is in collections in the United States, England, Japan, and Thailand and has been published in numerous brochures. She was a member of the Brooklyn Watercolor Society and a fellow of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Florilegium Society.
