Constance Sayas
Constance Sayas has combined her love for art and science to create a career. An experienced museum exhibition designer, she also worked as staff scientific illustrator for Encyclopaedia Britannica, in Chicago. Constance's background includes a BFA degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee; study in scientific illustration at the Art Institute of Chicago; and a certificate from the Denver Botanic Gardens' botanical art and illustration program, where she now teaches. Her work has won awards in national juried art exhibitions, and she is represented in several private and public collections, including the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, in Pittsburgh, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Florilegium.
