Lightscape - A Theorem Remembered

A Theorem: Remembered

Created by Jacob M Fisher
Plant Family Collection

This new, site-specific work makes dynamic use of string and geometric video projections to create a contemporary take on a holiday tree. The installation incorporates over 50,000 feet of paracord tied to a 35-foot tall by 20-foot wide metal pyramid structure resembling a conifer. Brooklyn Botanic Garden commissioned this work for its inaugural year of Lightscape from Jacob M Fisher, an installation artist living in New York City.
