Conifer Collection
Conifers are some of the earliest seed-bearing plants. Rather than flowers or fruit, these gymnosperms produce cones with seeds that get dispersed by wind. Most conifers are evergreen and provide shelter and protection for wildlife, especially during winter months. This collection displays the ways in which the shape, texture, and size of conifers can vary widely, from a towering giant sequoia to weeping hemlocks and dwarf spruces.
