Research shows that the smallest urban gardens—even a window box!—can make a huge difference to pollinator populations. Strung along our streets, thoughtful plantings in sidewalk containers, street tree beds, and malls can create powerful pollinator superhighways. Learn a few simple steps to support wildlife from a certified Brooklyn Urban Gardener and leader of the South Midwood Pollinators—a group committed to working together to make “our community a greener and more welcoming place for people, bees, birds, and butterflies.”
