Ever wondered what it takes to make your block greener? Recruit a few neighbors and head on over to BBG where our staff, joined by some winning Greenest Block in Brooklyn gardeners, will encourage you to see your block's potential with fresh eyes. We'll focus on common challenges, best practices for street tree care, and choosing the right plant for the right place. Tips for increasing participation on your block will also be discussed. Meet fellow streetscape gardeners to share stories of challenges and successes. Take home a plant to try!
ASL interpreter available upon request; contact [email protected] at least 2 weeks prior to the class date.
