Sally Warring
Sally Warring is a biologist and postdoctoral research scholar at the American Museum of Natural History. She grew up in New Zealand and has a bachelor of science with honors in botany from the University of Melbourne in Australia and a PhD. in biology at New York University, where she studied the genetics and genomics of microscopic parasites. In (some) of her spare time, she collects samples of water from various locations in New York City and surrounding areas and documents the free-living microscopic organisms found within. She posts the images and videos to an Instagram account called @pondlife_pondlife. You can learn more about the project at pondlifepondlife.com.
