New York Metropolitan Flora project researchers have compiled a comprehensive database of more than 13,000 references. Right now, this database focuses on woody plant genera found in the New York metropolitan region. However, many of the ecological references are applicable to eastern North America, and many of the taxonomic references are applicable worldwide.
